Account Information When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored securely via Supabase Authentication). Usage Data We collect information about how you use the Service, including: • Stock tickers you search and analyze • Watchlist preferences • Analysis history and frequency • App interaction patterns Purchase Data When you purchase an analysis, transaction records are processed through Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or our payment processor. We do not store your credit card or payment details directly. Device Information We may collect device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and browser type for analytics and performance optimization.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to: • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service. • Process your analysis purchases and track usage. • Personalize your experience (e.g., watchlist, recent analyses). • Send you important service-related communications. • Monitor and analyze usage trends to improve functionality. • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or fraud.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides: • Encrypted data at rest and in transit (TLS/SSL). • Row Level Security (RLS) ensuring users can only access their own data. • PostgreSQL-backed database with regular backups. While we implement commercially reasonable security measures, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may collect or process your data: • Supabase — Authentication, database, and server functions. • Anthropic — Powers our stock analysis engine. Ticker symbols are sent for analysis; no personal data is shared. • RevenueCat — Manages in-app purchases and payment processing. • Firebase — Web hosting and analytics. • Apple / Google — App distribution and payment processing. Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing the use of your information.
6. Data Sharing
We do NOT sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances: • With service providers who assist in operating the Service (as listed above). • If required by law, regulation, or legal process. • To protect the rights, property, or safety of BullBuddy, our users, or others. • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with prior notice).
7. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Analysis history is retained to provide cached results and historical reference. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
